OnePlus expanded its Nord lineup in 2020 with the launch of the Nord N100. As the most affordable Nord-branded device at the time, the N100 aimed to provide a solid experience for those on a budget.

Design and Display

The phone sports a 6.52-inch LCD display with HD+ resolution and a waterdrop notch. It has a plastic frame and back cover. At 188g, it has a lightweight feel for its size.

Hardware and Performance

Powering the N100 is the Snapdragon 460 chipset along with 4GB of RAM. While not a powerhouse, it is capable enough to handle basic tasks smoothly. There is 64GB of onboard storage that can be expanded via the microSD slot.

Cameras

The triple rear camera setup includes a 13MP main, 2MP macro, and 2MP depth sensor. Selfies are handled by an 8MP front camera. Video recording is limited to 1080p resolution.

Battery Life

A 5,000mAh battery provides excellent battery life. OnePlus estimates up to two days of usage on a single charge. 18W fast charging is also supported.

Software and Updates

The phone runs OxygenOS 10 based on Android 10 out of the box. It only received one major OS upgrade to Android 11.

For its affordable price point, the OnePlus Nord N100 delivers decent value as an entry-level Nord device. Though not without compromises, it proved to be a reliable daily driver for casual users on a budget.
