Motorola Moto G (2023) Price in Nigeria Today

Motorola’s Moto G series has long been the gold standard for affordable smartphones, and the new 2023 model looks to continue pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in this category. Here are my initial impressions after testing out the new Moto G (2023).

Design and Display

First off, the design retains Motorola’s understated yet well-built aesthetic. At just 189g it feels durable yet comfortable in hand. I’m also fond of the 6.5-inch 120Hz LCD, which provides smooth scrolling and ample room for media.

Hardware and Performance

Under the hood is a Snapdragon 480+ 5G chip paired with 4GB RAM. In day-to-day use, performance is zippy and lag-free. The integrated 5G support also future-proofs connectivity. Other highlights include 64/128GB storage and a massive 5000mAh battery.

Cameras and Software

Around the back you’ll find dual cameras including a 48MP main shooter. Photo quality captures plenty of detail, while the 2MP macro lens opens up creative possibilities. Video clips also come out looking crisp.

The software is clean Android 13 out of the box, with an update to 14 as promised. The interface remains lightweight and intuitive.

Value and Early Verdict

At 230,000 Naira, it’s tough to find a more well-rounded smartphone than the 2023 Moto G. You get lag-free performance, 5G, multi-day battery life, and capable cameras – all for an incredibly affordable price. Strong value remains this lineup’s biggest strength.
